Processing of siderurgical slags and by-products

The mechanical features of siderurgical slags are excellent. Owing to their high density and wear resistance they are used in the construction industry, in cement production and road construction. It is used in agriculture for the improvement of alkaline soil.

It is produced in the following size fractions: 20/80 mm, 12/20 mm, 5/12 mm, 0/5 mm converter slag, as well as 0/300 mm blast-furnace slag stone.

Steel scrap purchase and processing

One of the important activities of DUNAFERR Ferromark Ltd. is to provide steel scrap required for steel-making according to technological need, therefore we process almost 450,000 tons of scrap material on a yearly basis.

In favour of the steel-making process to be continuous the purchase of scrap material is performed involving the biggest domestic scrap distributing organizations.

Our company has been a member of the National Association of Waste Recoverers since 1st January 1998.

Distribution of downgraded steel products

An important range of activity of DUNAFERR Ferromark Ltd. is the wide-ranging distribution of downgraded (second- and third class) products produced at the production plants of DUNAFERR Company Group for manufacturers, retailers and retail trade.

Environmental activity

We operate a hazardous waste deposit on the industrial area of Dunaújváros, which is applicable to the elimination of wastes of danger classes II and III by deposition.
