Our company, ISD DUNAFERR Zrt. is the only integrated steelworks in Hungary. We offer a
wide range of steel products to our customers. We are certain of the fact that our company has to perform its scope of activities taking the requirements of customers, owners, employees and society into account based on the following principles:

CUSTOMER-FOCUSED PRODUCTION
We aim at producing high quality products complying with the requirements of application, which we want to realize by production and product development flexibly reacting to customer demands – keeping environmental load at the lowest possible level and maintaining safe working conditions.
We take over only such raw materials / products / services from our suppliers during the production of which environmentally friendly technologies and materials have been used and by which the adequate quality of DUNAFERR finished products is guaranteed.

PRODUCTION OF COMPETITIVE STEEL PRODUCTS
Our competitive steel products are produced in regulated production processes which are supported by steel and metal industrial tests and research, as well as IT systems. In order to ensure economical production a controlling approach is taken in process analyses that are based on objective data and the information flow is fast and reliable.

ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS THINKING
Our Company wishes to ensure operation observing environmental laws and other requirements. In order to conserve and improve our environment significant environmental investments have been launched. The management of the Company endeavours to establish a constructive dialogue with external and internal stakeholders. Employees carry out their activities paying due attention to adhering to environmental regulations.

HEALTHY, SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT
We aim at decreasing the degree of health impairment. For this we have to realize work safety to become a part of company culture, a company value realised by the effective involvement of employees, the continuous control, management and checking of workplace risks.

QUALITY CONSCIOUS WORK PERFORMANCE
With the introduction of a company culture supporting quality development, internal processes are continuously improving and efficient work performance is achieved. As a means of accomplishing the principles defined in the Operational Policy Statement the
Company operates an integrated management system certified by a third party, which was
established with the common application of guidelines and standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO
14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 (MSZ 28001:2008), ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
