The aim of the social policy of DUNAFERR Company Group is to promote the satisfaction of employees and their identification with the aims of the company. Ferrum Pension Fund was established on 20th November 1995 as part of the social system of the company group for the employees of DUNAFERR as a workplace fund.

The fund has continuously been developing since it was established and the number of its members and its asset have been increasing significantly. It was formed to be a national, open fund under the name Gyöngyház Voluntary Pension Fund in 1998 on the basis of the members’ decision and any Hungarian citizen can become its member. The present number of members in the fund is 11000. The minimal membership fee is HUF 1500/person/month.

Services of the fund: payment in one amount and a pension service for a determined period of 5 or 15 years, as well as the combination of the two constructions.

The fund started its investment activity in May 1996, its realized net average yield has always exceeded the degree of the fund’s average yield in the years elapsed. The net scales of returns credited on the individual accounts of the members have always exceeded the fund average from the beginning.
